Project Brief: Intranet Portal- Collaboration Web Presence Client: Borgata Casino and Spa    Recently, CyBOOK, inc. provided PM, design, and development resources to prototype an intranet Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server Web presence for the Borgata Casino and Spa, IT group. The project process and deliverables are outlined below. Go to the design and then develop pages on this site to walk though a complete overview of the project. After conferencing with members of the Borgata IT Group, we drafted a proposal scoping the project as follows:   Prototyping a SharePoint-based portal web site will provide a valuable company wide resource providing all levels of Borgata employees access to documents, HR tools, reports, and company news to help them work smarter and improve/maintain morale. The new site design should establish branding throughout the site, provide a navigational scheme that is intuitive to the user, and create a rich information architecture while being easily searchable. The web site should utilize leading-edge technology based on Microsoft SharePoint Technologies, existing content, including exposing information/tools from Bogata's legacy IT infrastructure, and be setup to support site growth over time.    Copyright © 2008 CyBOOK, inc.
